Toyota C-HR: Bold Design, Decked Out in Safety Tech

Oh, yikes. Toyota's out for blood. The C-HR will take the lead as the manufacturer's HR-V killer, being the only small toyota crossover that isn't rather bland. The Nissan Juke is another target. It can't just be left alone to reap the sporty, sub-compact and slightly quirky crossover market. No, Toyota had to do something. Perhaps that's why the C-HR is a little bit quirky itself, with those Civic-Touring-like, boomerang-shaped tail lights and its large air intakes in front of the front wheels. It's a perfect midpoint between the Juke and the CR-V, we think, and it's coming the market in spring of 2017.

Exterior Features

The C-HR was meant to carry a Scion logo, which is why it has a youthful design. However, Scion was shut down and the C-HR was inherited by the Toyota brand. It's probably the most bold Toyota design we've ever seen, which it needs to be in order to compete in its segment.

Tech and Safety

As you can see, the C-HR makes a formidable challenger in its segment by offering a lot of features we all want. While all of these features may lead to an MSRP that's a little high, we all know how well Toyotas hold their value. This vehicle is a good choice for a wide range of drivers, even though it was originally meant for youthful ones.
