GM is forcing its hand to stir interest in their Cadillac ELR plug-in hybrid. It has only been on the market for 5 months, but has not gotten the start that GM hoped for. GM’s ELR stock has risen to a 725 day supply, much higher than they had hoped for. GM has also recently offered up to $3000 in customer incentives to reduce inventory.
The Cadillac ELR Plug-In Hybrid starts at 75,995, which may be too high for hybrid buyers. Gm’s other vehicle with the same Voltec Technology, the Chevy Volt, is half the price. Even though Volts sales were down in April, it was selling much better than the ELR, forcing GM’s hand.
So if you are in the market for a Cadillac ELR Plug-In Hybrid, soon may be the best time to purchase with Gm’s deals and incentives on the rise. Before you head to a local dealership, get Cadillac price quotes from www.TrueDealerCost.com for the lowest local deals you’ll find anywhere!
